Last week we were delivered with the heartbreaking news that our favorite venue, Los Poblanos, was no longer going to be hosting weddings. We are devastated, as this has become a second home to us. We adore not only the staff and all the cute little critters who live at this venue, but all the photo opportunities from the lavender fields to the iconic pink wall.
Our couples who were supposed to get married there are now faced with having to try and find a replacement, while also navigating planning their big day during a pandemic. We know it hasn't been easy, and this news has really taken the wind out of your sails.
Just know we are here for you, and still want to be a part of your day, whether you choose to have your wedding in your living room or at another venue, or eve choose to postpone to 2021 or 2022.
We wanted to compile a list of venue alternatives for all the couples who were supposed to be married at Los Poblanos or who had dreamed of planning their wedding there one day. Some are in New Mexico, others are in our neighboring states.

This incredible horse stable just outside Santa Fe has become a local favorite. More elegant than rustic, it features stunning New Mexico views and picturesque grounds, and offers the freedom and ability to customize every single aspect of your day.
Want to get married in New Mexico but have a wedding that looks like it took place in Tuscany? Then Casa Rondena is your place. This little winery in Albuquerque is one of our most favorite spots! It features a stunning stone house, fields of grape vines and the most adorable little pond to say your I dos.

Colorado Venue Alternatives
With the current state of planning a wedding during a pandemic, we are required to shrink our guest count. Since we are seeing more and more intimate weddings, why not take your wedding out of state? Colorado is currently allowing weddings of up to 100 guests inside, with even more being allowed for outside, so it is something you may want to consider!
Settled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in the Ken Caryl Valley, the Manor House of Littleton is a historic venue that has been entertaining presidents, celebrities, and more for 103 years. It's easy to see why, as the gorgeous six-acre estate offers panoramic views that include, bust most definitely are not limited to, a breath-taking perspective of downtown Denver. There's even a large ballroom that can fit up to 200 guests (though keep in mind that Colorado's cap is still currently at 100), along with intimate fireplace rooms for a more cozy reception.
The Grant Humphrey's Mansion is located in Denver's historic Quality Hill neighborhood, which is only minutes from downtown Denver. Another landmark venue, this mansion boasts almost 120 years of rich history. It features plentiful flower beds, beautiful birch trees, and lush green lawns on the exterior, while the interior contains a grand staircase, elaborately detailed fireplaces, luxurious rooms, and even a ballroom.
The Little Nell, Aspen, Colorado
Whether you want to be married at the foot of the Rocky Mountains or high atop it, this location is perfect for weddings that want a breath-taking view of the Colorado landscape. They also boast the only 5 star hotel in Aspen, so your guests will truly never forget your big day.
The Woodland's describes itself as "a classic barn with a modern twist," making it ideal for couples who are looking for a blend of tradition with contemporary. The white walls make it a stunning and classic backdrop for photos, while also possessing the trademark Colorado views.
Texas Venue Alternatives
White Sparrow Barn, Quinlan, TX
Voted by Bride's Magazine as a Top Wedding Venue in America, this venue is a uniquely stunning spot. The white rustic buildings blend flawlessly with the lush green grounds, making it feel aesthetically high-end. We have dreams of shooting at this picturesque venue, with tall chandelier lit white ceilings in the barn and a garden of lavender. It has it all.

Standing on the porch of the 4,000 square foot Spanish mission-style hacienda with its clear Texas skies and rolling hills, it’s quite easy to see why this jewel is in constant demand as the perfect hill country site for lavish events and weddings. Destination wedding weekends are their specialty!

Have you ever seen a more unique ceremony location? I mean HOLY COW!? The Meekermark is the newest and most unique Houston wedding venue with lots of character for a picture-perfect wedding day.
