We were back at Tamaya this weekend for another beautiful fall wedding but even thought it was the same season and the same venue, we love that each and every one of our weddings are so different and so special. Abby and Adam met thanks to her matron of honor Katy, who was just beaming at their wedding day. Her speech to the couple had everyone in tears while Adam's brother had everyone laughing. It truly showed us what special people Adam and Abby are and how much they care not only about each other but also their friends, family, and community. The couple lives in Washington DC and does so much for their city, by not only giving back but also truly trying to make a difference. Abby, who is also a hard core animal lover, like myself, asked how our new adopted puppy was adjusting while she had her makeup done. While she also mentioned their getaway for the ceremony was a no brainer because it supported rescue animals.
The ceremony overlooked our beautiful Sandia mountains and as the clouds rolled in, and guests snuggled under blankets, the couple’s love melted everyone’s hearts. Abby and Adam had a horse and carriage pulled by Billy the draft horse as their getaway vehicle, which guests just loved as it looked straight out of a fairytale.
At the reception the party was started with a Hora Dance and the floor remained full as everyone celebrated the newlyweds. Congratulations Abby and Adam, we were so honored to be a part of your day and we wish you and your family the very best.
