Alexis + Chris | A Rustic Winery Wedding at The Enchanted Vine Barn

We traveled down to Ruidoso, for Alexis and Chris' wedding and were excited to discover a new beautiful venue. Tucked away in the gorgeous mountains of New Mexico, is a winery, unknown to most, but perfect for their special day. Alexis and Chris wanted their wedding to be elegant, but with a touch of rustic charm, and they accomplished it so flawlessly. Their ceremony was held outdoors under the tress and in the grass . They made a ceremony arch that was decorated in white hydrangeas, pale peach roses, and greenery to match Alexis's bridal bouquet. The bridesmaids were adorned in "red red wine" colored dresses, and the groomsmen in black tuxes. Alexis wore cowgirl boots under her strapless ball gown, and walked down the aisle followed by the longest cathedral veil we've ever seen, also known as a royal veil.

When Chris saw Alexis walking down the aisle, there was not a dry eye to be found. After 5 years, he was marrying the love of his life. Halfway through, the clouds began to thunder, but being so excited to finally be where they were, the couple didn't blink an eye, nothing was going to interrupt their perfect day. As soon as the ceremony ended and Alexis and Chris walked inside, it started to pour. The couple couldn't have cared less as they were just so happy to be married. These two were troopers, and such good sports during portraits.

Before their wedding Alexis asked Chris if there what kind of dress he envisioned her wearing on their wedding day. He told her that she would look beautiful in anything, but if it looked anything like her prom dress, he'd be totally ok with that too. So Alexis took the dress she went to prom in with Chris, and asked a local tailor to help transform it into a reception worthy dress. Chris was surprised by the outfit change, but excited to see her in the dress he had loved so much. She looked absolutely STUNNING in her second dress as she shocked all the guests in her ready to party attire.

Alexis poured her heart into her decorations. During the barn reception she lined the farm tables with runners made from burnt book pages and eucalyptus. There were vintage glasses all around, and wine barrels to hold the favors, which were coffee mugs with their names on it, and fresh coffee for guests to take home. They wrapped greenery around hoops that hung from the ceiling behind the head table. And had a fun photobooth for guests to pose in front of the old vintage truck. It was truly a beautiful evening and we were so honored to be a part of it. Congrats Chris and Alexis!!
