When Lindsay first contacted me she mentioned that she wasn't a traditional bride in the sense that she wasn't one for bells and whistles, and all she cared about was marrying the man she loved. She had mailed me a 2 page letter explaining how she met Brett and how she envisioned her wedding day to be. Being the sucker that I am for snail mail, this letter really warmed my heart. Their wedding was perfectly simple yet had so many adorable details that the wedding guests truly appreciated and fawned over. With the stunning mountains at Paako Ridge as their backdrop, Lindsay and Brett said their I do's under an arbor of roses, artichokes and lilies. The bridesmaids mismatched dresses complimented the eclectic floral arrangements they held perfectly, put together by Lindsay's aunt. Lindsay donned an adorable short lace dress from Modcloth and sweet little t-strap heels with flowers in her hair. The ceremony went off without a hitch, ordained by the couple's close friend Michael.
Guests made their way back to Lindsay's family home where they played lawn games, sipped on coffee beer made especially for the wedding by Lindsay's dad and ate delicious pie from Pie Junky (brought in special from Oklahoma where the couple resides.) Brett and Lindsay also had a food truck at the wedding, Irrational Pie, adding to the uniqueness of the event. All in all it was a beautiful evening that we were honored to be a part of. We wish Brett and Lindsay nothing but the best!
